Salaam – Leggings with pockets

Up from a deep royal blue comes moorish shades of mint, mauve, and bright turquoise. This pattern was inspired by Turkish textiles and tile designs. I used a mirror repeat, which I usually don’t do, but works well with the geometry of the pattern. There’s a lot of different directions you can take these… something simple like a navy sweater or tank – or go all out in violet. Maybe find something shiny to go on top – and pick up the colors in the ribbon-like band of teal. So many options!
